Andy Katzenmoyer is a former American football player who played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on December 20, 1976, in Westerville, Ohio. Katzenmoyer played college football at Ohio State University, where he was a standout linebacker and won the Chuck Bednarik Award for the best defensive player in college football in 1997.
He was selected by the New England Patriots in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft. However, Katzenmoyer's NFL career was cut short by injuries, and he played only two seasons in the league. He retired from professional football in 2001 after suffering a serious neck injury.
